Digital Experience Designer
My Origin Story
I don't believe in stereotypes, but I'm guilty of one narrative. An origin story.
I used to only ever desire to be two things - A journalist and a visual creative. I studied painting in art school but quickly pivoted into a career in communication design.
For years, I honed my skills as a brand designer across industries spanning advertising, banking, oil and gas, technology and higher education. My journey made me comfortable with improving the human experience of enterprise software.
I've led Experience Design within a tech start-up, designed for safety in the construction industry, developed digital learning experiences within the mining Industry and delivered change focussed software adoption resources for IT at Transport for NSW. I'm currently leading the integration and adoption of AI tools without Charles Stuart University library's customer-facing digital touchpoints.
I am a tech-driven multi-modal digital experience designer. I have the deep inquisitiveness of a journalist, the heart of a teacher, the skills of a visual designer and a bias to improving both usability and learnability.

I choose to believe that the problem should always dictate the solution.
Reach out if I tickle your fancy.
